McKeon Files for Ninth Term in Congress
SANTA CLARITA, CA - Wednesday, Rep. Howard P. "Buck McKeon officially filed to
run for another term as U.S. Representative of the 25th District of California,
to make his ninth term in Congress.
"It has been an honor serving the constituents of the 25th district of
California for the last 15 years, and it would be an even greater honor to
continue serving," said McKeon. "This is an exciting but critical time in
American history, with a new Presidency before us, an erratic security, a broken
immigration process, a need for improved education and energy conservation, and
many other issues. We are in such a tine that commands a call for
experience, which is what I have."
McKeon will focus his campaign on the need for completion of the wall along the
country's southern border, a need for greater fiscal restraint in Washington,
improved access to higher education reinforced national security.
Having collected the necessary signatures as required by the Secretary of the
State of California, McKeon qualifies to run in the June 6, 2008 Republican
primary.
